A national health charity dedicated to improving the lives of those suffering from muscle disease is looking for a Challenge Events Manager to successfully deliver and coordinate a varied schedule of events.
 
Working closely with the Head of Events, the Challenge Events Manager will work to achieve agreed targets by developing the organisations Challenge Events, introducing new events and maintaining the current events portfolio. You will coordinate the planning and implementation of the events and develop relationships with individuals and organisations involved. Other key areas of responsibility will include working to secure corporate involvement in the programme, developing and implementing marketing plans to promote the events and line managing the Challenge Events Co-ordinator.
 
With experience in Challenge Events or events fundraising the ideal candidate will have previously managed other members of staff and produced promotional materials. With strong communication skills you will have the ability to use research methods and develop strategy to meet targets. You will also have the confidence to network and build relationships with a variety of different people and have an enthusiastic and creative approach to your work.
