Our client, a national, faith-based umbrella organisation, are looking to recruit an experienced Office Administrator. This role will be responsible for all aspects of administration within a small but very busy team.

The role has a broad administrative remit which will include supporting events and conferences, team diary coordination, support for the officers and members of the Board of Trustees and administering the relationships between the organisation and its extensive network of members and stakeholders. Alongside these key duties, the Administrator is responsible for assisting with web based activities, such as uploading materials, proof reading and use of social media. Whilst working as part of an office based team, the post-holder will also support a wider team of remote workers and representatives.

As the first point of contact for the organisation, the successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills and will be approachable and efficient. With proven administrative experience, it is essential that the candidate taking on this role has demonstrable aptitude in a broad range of IT in order to be able to effectively lead on database and membership management systems. The ability to prioritise workload, work to deadlines and the ability to work unsupervised is also important to success in this role. Previous web publishing and copyrighting experience would be desirable but not essential.

Empathy for the work of this progressive and dynamic faith based organisation is essential.
