Head of Foundations and Programme Funding
9-12 month Maternity Contract
£42,000 - £54,500 pro rata

The Head of Foundations and Programme Funding plays a vital role; leading a talented and successful team to raise over £2.3m each year from a range of foundations, trusts and other UK and European funding institutions. The purpose of this role is to continue the impressive growth the charity has achieved and, in particular, oversee the organisation's entry into new markets in Europe and deliver on income in line with their global funding objectives. You will also play a key role within the fundraising management team and be an effective link between fundraising and programme teams.
We are looking for an experienced and gifted manager who has extensive understanding of the funding landscape in the UK and Europe and is capable of getting the most from a team. You will ideally have strong international development and programme knowledge, either through fundraising or programme management and will have proven experience of successfully writing, managing and winning fundraising proposals. You will be comfortable managing high value donor relationships and will have an entrepreneurial instinct to support the development of new areas of work.
