Database Co-ordinator

£25-28k, depending on experience

Our client, The Art Fund is the UK’s fundraising charity for art; they believe great art should be available for everyone to enjoy. Working with museums and galleries across the UK, they help buy, show and share art, to ensure the widest possible access to their public collections. In the last five years they’ve given more than £24 million to support the acquisition of art works and they are committed to increasing both their charitable spend and their supporter base significantly over the next five years. They primarily generate their income through sales of the National Art Pass, special fundraising appeals and campaigns, as well as donations and legacies from philanthropists big and small.

The Database Co-ordinator sits within the Marketing team, but provides services to a range of internal stakeholders, as well as working with their external supporter services provider. With at least 18 months hands-on, practical experience of working with charity database systems, you will have a good knowledge of data entry protocols and data integrity, as well as some knowledge of running data exports and reports. An enthusiastic and flexible team member, you’ll also demonstrate a willingness to share your knowledge with colleagues, with an ability to communicate technical information to non-specialists. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to develop their skills to a higher-technical level and become an internal expert, supporting a range of database users in different business areas.

Closing date Monday 28th May 2012 at midday.
Interviews will take place on 12th June 2012.
