HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT
Salary c. £35k (pro rata – part time 3 days, 24 hours per week)
The successful candidate will be a member of the Senior Management Team with specific responsibility for reviewing and establishing the theatre’s development and fundraising strategy in support of the programme of production, performance and participation. This strategy is focusing on Trusts & Foundations plus individual giving at all levels. Wakefield’s cultural profile has never been higher with The Hepworth, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Theatre Royal Wakefield all located in the district.
We are looking for an experienced fundraiser with a passion for the performing arts. S/he will have a strong vision for how the Theatre can achieve and surpass its potential and income targets, capitalising on the exciting programme and the increasing contribution that John Godber is making in his role as Creative Director. This is an opportunity to make a major impact on what we do and how we do it.
