£41,974 (inc OLW) rising to a maximum of £49,071 by annual increments plus benefits
Are you managing a small team and are looking for your next step up in management? If so, this unique role will be of interest you.
As our Head of Activities and International Affairs you will manage a team of up to eight people and report directly to an Assistant Director. You will oversee and support the development of adventurous and creative activities which will involve monitoring and at times engaging with emerging policy developments from Government and related National Governing Bodies. You will also help develop internationalism within UK Scouting and manage aspects of our relations with Scout Associations around the world, as well as overseeing the staff and volunteers taking large parties of members to World and European events.
You will need an exceptional ability to ensure projects, are managed, and delivered on time and within cost. You will also have the ability to motivate and develop your staff team, work well with volunteers in a leading national voluntary organisation and be prepared for some unsocial hours of working.
In essence, you will be a highly organised and motivated individual who enjoys, and can manage, a varied and challenging workload.
