FUNDRAISING DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
Up to £25,000 – Central London
The Greater London Fund for the Blind is a fund-raising charity whose mission is to make London the best city in the world for blind and visually impaired people to live. They do not provide direct services themselves, but they raise money for their member charities and other grassroots organizations that help improve the lives of the 39,000 registered blind and visually impaired people living across the capital. While the GLFB does the fundraising, the charities can concentrate on doing what they do best – providing care and support.
The charity wishes to recruit a new Fundraising Database Administrator to support the Head of Individual Giving who will be managing existing and new face-to- face programmes, donor acquisition & retention, direct mail/marketing, corporate and legacy fundraising.
They are seeking a pro-active and supportive team player who demonstrates a friendly and approachable personality.
The ideal candidate will also possess:
- Excellent IT skills
- Experience of supporting a small multi-disciplinary fundraising team, specifically assisting them with applications to Trusts and Charitable Foundations, sporting & community fundraising activities and events.
- The ability to update websites
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience of ALMS would be an advantage.
