Senior Events Officer
This highly regarded educational charity dedicated to addressing the disadvantages that young people face in education are currently looking to recruit a motivated Senior Events Officer to plan and deliver their diverse Summer Institute
-Event management; large scale conferences
-Expanding Summer Institute up to 1000 participants
This proactive individual will manage the planning and delivery of the regional and national Summer Institute. This role will coordinate all staff including employees, tutors and trustees. A key element to this position is to ensure that branding and key messages are communicated throughout the institute, especially in key speeches and ceremonies. You will also manage key relationships with tutors and be involved with creating and monitoring budgets.
This role requires a candidate with extensive event management experience, specifically with large conferences. You must have excellent project and relationships management skills and partnership management would also be an advantage. The successful candidate will have knowledge of communicating key messages and branding and experience in the higher education sector would be ideal.
Salary £35,180 rising to £38,750 on successful completion of six month probationary period.
