Salary range: £24,590 to £31,664 per annum pro rata inc

The RNOH Charity is a vital partner in the way the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital delivers care. Since its inception in 1997 it has received and administered millions of pounds’ worth of donations, which have funded improvements to hospital facilities, supported pioneering research projects, funded staff training, and assisted in numerous other essential projects.

While it still works to enhance existing hospital facilities, its primary focus until 2016 is to promote and process contributions towards the RNOH’s Redevelopment Appeal.

The Appeal is committed to raising £15 million for the purchase of essential buildings, state-of-the-art wards, equipment and facilities which befit the world-class service provided at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Help to raise over £500,000 a year from fundraising events and community fundraising activities for the RNOH’s Redevelopment Appeal.

The fundraising department is looking for an experienced fundraiser to play a key role in maximising income from events and the local community. The successful candidate will manage and develop a portfolio of existing events and third party fundraisers to increase annual income. You will raise the profile and maximise income from the RNOH’s annual Buttercup Walk event. The candidate will develop new income streams from a combination of community groups/schools/events/corporate support to meet income targets.

The post would suit someone with events experience ready for their next challenge in fundraising.
