Alzheimer’s Society is the leading care and research charity for people with all forms of dementia, their families and carers.
We are currently looking for an exceptional person to join us as a Volunteer Development Manager for Wales. You will contribute to the development, delivery and review of the Society’s volunteering plans across Wales. You will also operate as an integral part of the Wales management team and have matrix management of local volunteering specialists.
As part of the volunteering development team, you will help develop and implement policies, procedures and best practice guidance to promote the role of volunteers within the Society. Previous experience of working with volunteers, assisting in the implementation of a change programme, working in more than one team and delivering targets to a strict timetable are essential requirements of the job. You will ideally be a Welsh speaker.
The post is based at our Wales national office, Cardiff, although an alternative South Wales location is negotiable.
