We are looking for a Retail Account Manager to join us, working at the centre of one of the BBC’s biggest broadcasting projects, based in London.
BBC Children in Need is the BBC’s UK Charity and supports projects working with disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. Distributing last year's money is well underway, as is planning for the next Appeal in November 2012.
Responsible for the strategic development of our product portfolio, you'll develop and manage our merchandise from supplier engagement through to sales tracking, ensuring our merchandise is retailed through our partners and our own e-commerce sites.
Combined with a proven track record of development and strategic growth of merchandise, you'll have a background in retail and experience of detailed sales analysis. With experience of identifying, establishing and developing key supply chain relationships, you'll be comfortable managing mutually beneficial partnerships and will be conversant with current ethical trading initiatives. In addition you'll need Account Management experience and have worked in a sales and marketing environment, combined with experience of managing and developing brands. Strong negotiation skills are also required.
This is an 11 month contract.
