We are looking for a New Business Account Manager to join us, working at the centre of one of the BBC’s biggest broadcasting projects, based in London. You'll be critical in working to develop partnerships and to ensure that BBC CiN can generate increased income, as well as developing opportunities for the exploitation of the brand.
BBC Children in Need is the BBC’s UK Charity and supports projects working with disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. Distributing last year's money is well underway, as is planning for the next Appeal in November 2012.
This is a key role, working to initiate and develop sustainable partnerships to add breadth and depth to our annual Appeal and to generate additional income. You'll also identify and develop opportunities in new sectors and to reach new audiences.
You'll have a proven track record of identifying, establishing and developing strategic partnerships in a complex environment. In addition, you'll need Account Management experience and experience of working in a sales and marketing environment, combined with experience of managing and developing brands.
This is an 11 month contract.
