About the role:
We are seeking an External Communications and Marketing Officer to develop and deliver a communications and marketing strategy that will raise the profile and awareness of the work of Forest YMCA to key stakeholders and target audiences.
Forest YMCA has big development and expansion plans, and this post is crucial to their success. Working within a small Fundraising Team, the person who takes on this exciting new role will be involved in all aspects of the marketing mix, including being responsible for the production of new literature, direct marketing campaigns, advertising, the website, social media and press releases..
You will have had prior communications and marketing experience, ideally in the charity sector. A creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, you will possess strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to write compelling and motivating promotional copy.
This is an opportunity for the right candidate to take ownership of the work, develop their skills and really make their mark.
