Our client, a truly innovative arts organisation that work with the most displaced in society are seeking to recruit a practiced and ambitious Trusts Fundraising Manager to join their team. Having already sustained NPO status from the arts council and a large grant until 2015, the organisation are in a strong position to start diversifying their trusts income streams.
This role will focus on attracting and managing grants from Trusts and Foundations and will work to maximise all opportunities, including existing and new relationships, to raise the organisations profile and increase income. As a key contributor to the fundraising strategy, the post holder will have the scope to develop and design new projects to maximise support. Researching and writing targeted, high quality funding proposals this role will also have responsibility for evaluating application success and implementing strategies for its improvement.
With a successful track record in securing grants from a wide range of supporters, the ideal candidate for this role will have a proven ability in managing complex relationships with Trusts. Liaising with a variety of key stakeholders on a daily basis, excellent and confident communication skills are essential, as is the ability to operate in a busy environment. Experience in devising new fundraising initiatives, ideally in a charity or arts organisation, is also crucial to success in this role.
