As Fundraising Manager with vInspired, you will:
• Develop and deliver an individual and events fundraising strategy
• Seek out funding opportunities and maximise donations from individuals
• Plan, implement, monitor and evaluate a range of activities, projects and promotions
• Arrange and attend events and support fundraising through existing events
• Act as an ambassador for vInspired by networking in order to raise our profile
• Work with colleagues, the Board and others to maximise each and every opportunity
You’ll be joining vInspired at a crucial time as we move from being a primarily Government funded organisation to one with a diversified income base. Driven by our vision that young people can change the world through volunteering, we want to create a new way of working where co-creation will form a big part of our ethos. Your contribution will be key in helping us to achieve our mission - to inspire young people to discover the value of volunteering for themselves and others.
To join us as Fundraising Manager, you’ll need:
• Substantial experience of events and individual fundraising
• A flair for networking and building strong relationships at all levels
• Excellent project management skills, including defining strategic objectives, research, planning, managing change, implementation and evaluation
• Sound knowledge of the relevant legislation
• High levels of IT literacy, a well-organised approach and sound admin skills
• The ability to influence and motivate both internally and externally
