A highly admired charity in the sector, my client has an urgent requirement for an experienced charity finance specialist with expert knowledge of SORP, Charity Tax and Gift Aid to join their organisation initially on a 6 month contract.
As well as enabling expert care for seriously ill patients, this £15m income charity campaigns for better rights through research and lobbying, whilst providing enhanced education to raise awareness and adjust perceptions.
To be considered for this role, you will be at least AAT Qualified or currently studying for ACCA/CIMA, with extensive experience of a financial accounting function within a charity environment. You will have expert knowledge of all charity tax and Gift Aid matters and worked through multiple year end processes.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will be crucial to offering advice and guidance across both finance and fundraising on all issues that might arise around charity tax and Gift Aid. You will also be assisting on all month/year end procedures.
