Head of Finance - Interim - National Charity - c. £50,000 - £60,000 per annum pro rata
A national charity based in East London is seeking to appoint an interim Head of Finance for a minimum of three months.
The role will be responsible for seeing the organisation through the year-end process, including the external audit. The Head of Finance will also be responsible for managing a small team during a time of change, budget-setting for the coming year, finance change management and providing advice and guidance on future-scoping the finance function to support the changes that are afoot within the organisation.
The successful candidate will be:
- a qualified accountant
- have experience of accounting and financial management within the charity sector, with a strong understanding of SORP and charity VAT
- a strong people-manager who can engage a team during a time of change
