Downside Fisher Youth Club (the Downside Settlement)
Appeal Director
Southwark, London
£37, 848 - £40,555 (Inclusive of London Weighting)
Are you an accomplished fundraiser who knows how to obtain funds from Trusts and similar bodies?
The Downside Settlement is looking for a new Appeal Director to drive forward income generation to support our ongoing expansion.
You will have overall responsibility for developing an annual and three year fundraising strategy. The focus will be on Corporate Sponsors, Major Donors, Trusts and Foundations, Individual Giving and Events.
Your role will be to ensure The Downside Settlement achieves maximum impact in its fundraising activities, drawing on the strength of the Downside Fisher Youth Club 'brand' to encourage supporters to make whatever contribution they can to our work. That means devising impassioned, co-ordinated appeals tailored specifically to individual audiences, thereby strengthening our influence and improving voluntary income and donations.
You will be an experienced, hands-on fundraiser who thrives in a fast paced environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a big contribution to a fundraising programme that is focused on securing high-value multi-year grant funding from a range of Trusts, Foundations, Major Donors, the Private Sector and Individuals.
The post is subject to checks by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).
To apply you will need to complete a Job Application form outlining how you meet each of the essential elements of the person specification for this role. Download the Job Description and Person Specification attached.
