We are working on an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Major Gift fundraiser. Working with one of the leading environmental charities in the UK, this post will pay a key part in account managing a portfolio of Major Donors - both individuals and Trusts.
Key Responsibilities:
1.To manage a portfolio of donor relationships, developing strategies for cultivation and asking. Individuals to be nurtured as Fellows or donors towards specific projects.
2.To be instrumental in the generation of single gifts over £100,000.
3.To develop and write a strong, persuasive case for support for all projects, working closely with project leaders across the Society.
4.To prepare and submit accurate, appropriate and compelling applications to relevant parties in a timely manner to fit their schedules, and follow up as appropriate.
5.To build excellent working relationships with donors and trusts, as appropriate.
Experience required:
+ Experience of fundraising from Trusts and Major Donors
+ Proven major donor fundraising experience at a high level demonstrating considerable success in the generation of funds for a variety of capital appeals and projects, particularly from individuals.
