£8.85 per hour + holiday pay (£9.91 per hour inclusive of holiday pay)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our locum pool of Supported Housing Assistants for a leading sheltered housing provider that works with young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Ensuring the service provides a safe and welcoming environment to young people and visitors by being a first point of contact, you will be managing rent accounts and providing benefits advice. You may also be lone working and managing a small caseload.
Paid or voluntary experience of supporting young people or other vulnerable client groups is essential. You will be able to work as part of a team and manage a workload to meet conflicting deadlines. Ideally you will have some experience of caseload management, key working and benefits advice. We would like to hear from candidates who are fully flexible with regards to working hours.
A CRB check issued in the last 6 months is essential or you must be willing to pay to process a new CRB through Prospectus. Your application will be subject to references which cover the last 3 years.
