Head of Major Donor - home based / east midlands £50k-55k

The Charity

Our client, a national UK medical charity, has been in existence for over 30 years. They promote international research as well as delivering first class care and support to their beneficiaries.

The Role

This superb Head of Major Donors role is tasked with maximising income from high net-worth individuals and trusts. You will lead on the high-value fundraising programme, delivering growth from these important income streams.

Day-to-day tasks will include:

* Working with the CEO and trustees to identify and develop high value relationships
* Leading the Major Donor Team, developing staff and implementing processes
* Develop strategies to achieve income for general as well as restricted funding projects

The Candidate

Key attributes for the Head of Major Donor include:

* Previous experience as a fundraiser with a proven track record of soliciting donations from high-net-worth individuals.
* Coming from a background in the sector, you will have managed professional fundraisers in the past, and will bring a record of meeting income targets in the major donor and trust fields.
* Experience of developing strategic fundraising plans.
* Experience of budgetary control and financial planning.

This role can be home based 3 days per week. The location is commutable from London. This is a wonderful opportunity for somebody requiring flexible working or looking to relocate out of London.
