We are working exclusively with a high profile health charity to recruit a Head of Corporate and Trust Fundraising. The role offers the opportunity to strategically direct some of the best known corporate partnerships in the sector and oversee new business from prospective corporate supporters. The focus of the role is on corporate fundraising, with additional responsibility for managing the successful trust fundraising function.
This is a strategic role that is all about managing a successful team, ensuring partnerships are maximised via your talented staff, and driving new business by ensuring a robust, clear plan is created and followed through. There are some superb partnerships already in place that will provide some great ballast for the incoming head of team.
We are looking for an experienced fundraiser and line manager who can lead the team, drive income growth, and deal with internal stakeholders. It's essential that you're an accomplished strategist, able to develop long-term fundraising growth plans and empower a team to deliver these. Crucially, you will have proven experience of strategically leading on new business development and account management whilst allowing line reports the autonomy to do their jobs, coaching and supporting when necessary.
- Current target of £3.5m total income, of which 200k is derived from trusts, and £600k of which is new business. Financial year is June to June.
- Ideally we are looking from someone who has been responsible for managing a team raising over £1m per year, but if you feel your experience is scaleable and you have the requisite strategic and line management experience I’d like to hear from you.
