Salary: £29,604 per annum inclusive of London Allowance

Cabrini is a charity providing a range of innovative services to children, their families and
the communities they live in. We give the people we work with roots and wings – a sense of self-worth and the chance to fly towards their potential.
The Marketing, Business Development and Fundraising Team raise funds to support the on-going work of Cabrini, generate awareness of our work and develop its supporter base in order to help more children and families. We have ambitious plans to develop and increase our fundraising activity over the next year and beyond.
The Community Fundraiser is a new and exciting role within the team, which will be responsible for promoting Cabrini’s name and work to a range of community groups including schools, parishes, local fundraising groups, organisations and businesses. You will plan, deliver and ensure profitability of challenge and local community events, as well as lead and develop community fundraising through staff, volunteers, local fundraising groups and other contacts.
You will have substantial experience of successfully managing and inspiring local fundraising groups and volunteers, together with the skills to plan and run challenge events. You will have a proven track record of delivering against financial targets and of significantly increasing net income in a community and challenge events context.
You will have excellent leadership skills with an ability to persuade and influence, as well as good interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with individuals and groups. If you are a strategic thinker with the ability to maximise opportunities and have the creative skills to develop profitable community fundraising initiatives, we would like to hear from you.
This role is offered on a full time permanent basis and is based in Purley, close to good transport links. A competitive benefits package is available for the successful candidate.
