As Marketing Officer at Comic Relief you will enjoy a rare opportunity to work with one of the UK’s most loved brands. From day one you will be part of a passionate marketing team developing engaging marketing plans for Red Nose Day 2013 and preparing for Sport Relief 2014. You will help communicate and implement marketing strategy across all channels. Working closely with creative teams you will project manage the planning of direct mail activity and delivery of printed marketing materials - taking responsibility for producing inspiring, clear and insightful briefs, controlling budgets and meeting deadlines. You will also plan and commission research to ensure marketing activities communicate effectively with our audiences as well as monitor and report on results and share learning. What’s more you will have the opportunity to take the lead on the 360 marketing of individual projects such as celebrity challenges.
It goes without saying you will be an experienced and dynamic marketer who is able to make things happen. Whether agency or client-side, you will have experience of working on high-profile campaigns for big brands, thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working across all channels, on and offline. Your experience must cover audience understanding, advertising, DM, market research and brand guardianship. You will need to hit the ground running and our expectations will be high, but we can promise you an amazing experience working in a friendly and supportive team.
