Legacy Manager (London, South East and East)

Salary - Circa £23,030

Our client is a well known and respected UK charity with an excellent reputation. A challenging, new opportunity exists for a fundraiser to help develop and increase legacy and in memoriam income in London, South East & East.
Reporting to the Senior Legacy Manager as part of the legacy fundraising team, you'll play a key part in pledger and in-memoriam promotion and stewardship within community. Working within a philanthropy and pledger team, you'll increase the number of people pledging to leave a legacy and ultimately you'll grow the legacy income even further. Whether you're building relationships with local groups or talking to potential donors, your sensitivity, positive approach and efficiency will make a huge difference.
You will recruit, train and manage legacy volunteers to approach groups and give appropriate legacy presentations. Planning and managing legacy & in memoriam events, you will nurture relationships with supporters and increase the value of in memoriam gifts in the community.
Your experience in charity fundraising means you'll be able to hit the ground running and, ideally, you'll have experience of working with volunteers, developing and building relationships and presenting to relevant groups.
