BSLBT is a young, high-performing charity that exists to make sign-presented TV programmes available to the 70,000 people in the UK who use BSL as their first, or preferred, language.

In its first three years, BSLBT has established a track record for excellence, and we have won a number of awards for our programmes.

BSLBT became a charity in January 2012 and we are now looking to strengthen our Board with the appointment of four new Trustees. We are looking for:

Two Deaf Trustees, whose first, or preferred, language is BSL
Two hearing Trustees

Each Trustee will also need skills or experience in at least one the following areas:

• Finance / accountancy
• Fundraising or income generation
• Programme commissioning or production

You would be joining the charity at an exciting time, with Trustees committed to building on our substantial success to date.
