Shape is a disability-led arts organisation working to improve access to culture for disabled people. We develop opportunities for disabled artists, we train cultural institutions to be more open to disabled people, and we run participatory arts and development programmes.
This is a newly created post within Shape. As the Head of Fundraising and Development you will be leading on all of the fundraising activity within Shape. It is vital that we continue to build on established income streams from Grant Giving Bodies (Trusts, Lottery and Statutory) and develop new ones, particularly from Individuals. You will be implementing the fundraising strategy and line-managing a small team.
You will have a strong track record in fundraising especially in raising significant sums from Trusts, Lottery, Statutory sources and Individuals and in developing excellent relations with funders.
We are looking for someone who can inspire funders to get excited about what we do. You will need a passion for our work and the skills to compel funders to support us.
Please tell us if you would like this information in other formats.
Shape is committed to equality and diversity in employment. While we welcome applicants from anyone who has a clear commitment to upholding and enhancing the rights of disabled people, we particularly encourage applications from disabled people as well as people from BME communities.
