Role description
The role will require the successful candidate to manage and lead on a diverse events program that includes four large bespoke fundraising events and overseethe growing program of cultivation and volunteer events designed for corporate and high value individuals.
The role will involve management of a small events fundraising team and play a leading role in managing events to generate high levels of long-term, sustainable unrestricted income, whilst increasing participation and long term supporter loyalty, by providing high quality events and excellent customer service.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in event management- across Major Donor, mass participation, volunteer events
- Proven project management track record
- Line management capabilities
- Writing and managing income and expenditure budgets
- Developing marketing plans for events
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Prior knowledge of developing promotional literature
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work accurately and to deadline
- Experience of working in fundraising in a charity
- Good networking skills
- Strong communication skills
