Job: Job Brokerage Manager, Charity Action Recruitment

Our client is a charity that exists to empower people by supporting them to make decisions about skills and employment. Each year we help thousands of people find employment. We are expanding our existing work with employers to build a team of people who can source vacancies to create employment and placement opportunities for our clients, who are long term unemployed and will include offenders and those with a history of substance mis-use. 

You will have a recruitment or job brokerage background, ideally at manager level with a good understanding of labour markets and skills shortages in London, to lead our job brokerage activities, managing as well as looking to expand, a job brokerage team. You will be responsible for the quality of all our employer engagement activities, monitoring performance on our contracts which have job targets. You will also market our Train to Gain offer to employers as we look to expand this area of work over the next year. Our client is particularly interested in people who have a proven recruitment work history in either the construction, retail or hospitality industries. You will have a hands-on role working closely with employers to identify their recruitment needs. You will develop bespoke training services to our clients to gain the skills needed to meet an employer’s requirements. Each post holder will engage new employers to increase both the number of employers and the number of people securing employment.
