Job: Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager, Charity Action Recruitment

Managing a small team of Corporate Fundraisers you will be responsible for all income generation from corporate and private donors at one of the UK’s largest organisations working to support carers.

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising you will take the lead role in developing and implementing the Corporate Fundraising strategy, and producing monthly fundraising activity and evaluation reports, and managing the Corporate Fundraising budget.

As Senior Fundraising Manager you will line manage a small team including the recruitment, induction, supervision, staff appraisal and training and development.

You will be responsible for generating and developing relationships with high value business and individual corporate contacts, developing persuasive and innovative proposals in order to access various funding streams such as Charity of the Year, sponsorship, and cause related marketing.

You will also represent the charity at networking events and plan your own programme of fundraising and donor recruitment events on an intimate and large scale basis.

This position offers a chance to work at one of the leading organisations working in particular with supporting and assisting young carers. You will be taking a key role for a charity that currently boasts a lot of high level corporate support.

Applicants should have an up to date in depth knowledge of UK corporate fundraising methodologies and techniques as well as experience of strategic fundraising planning and budgeting procedures. You should have a proven track record of fundraising from corporate donors and of making approaches and building relationships with high level business individuals. Line management experience would also be desirable.
