Accountant

Salary circa £35,000 pro rata LONDON SE11

The School is looking to appoint a part-time Accountant to assist the Board and Senior Staff in meeting its financial management and information needs. You will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day financial management of the School. This is an exciting time of change for the School which includes the launch of a major capital campaign.

We are looking for a qualified or part-qualified accountant preferably with experience of the education or not-for-profit sector. You should have a good understanding and experience of financial management and information tools, and know how to design and adapt these to aid strategic and executive decision making. You should be a self-starter with good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills with a flexible and adaptable ‘can-do’ attitude towards your work and, ideally, an interest in the cause of education and the arts.
