Lloyds TSB Foundation for England & Wales is one of the largest grant making trusts in the UK and focuses on supporting smaller under funded charities that help people who are disadvantaged to play a fuller role in the community. They have a significant regional presence that responds directly to local needs and are currently seeking an experienced Grants Manager to initiate, develop and evaluate a portfolio of grant applications.

Playing a significant role in the grant making team, you will be responsible for the delivery of four key grant making programmes in your geographical area. You will use your local expertise to proactively identify prospective applicants, guiding and supporting them to creatively expand their ideas into full applications, and assess grant submissions according to the relevant quality standards, as well as carrying out mid and post-grant monitoring and evaluation. Acting as an ambassador for the organisation, you will develop a network of contacts in the grant making sector and the local community, in order to promote the excellent work of the Lloyds TSB Foundation.

With at least 2 years experience of assessing, monitoring and evaluating grant, budgetary control experience and excellent knowledge of the local voluntary and community sector, you will also ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent. You will be self-motivated, able to set up efficient networks, have demonstrable report writing ability, and be IT literate (with knowledge of databases).

You will be expected to live in the geographical area that you are applying to work in. Based out in local communities, you will be out interfacing directly with charities for the majority of your time, and will be expected to travel to the Hub office in London, monthly.
