With a £3.8 million grant from the Department for Children, Schools and Families, Fairbridge is set to develop our operational capacity and reach more young people than ever before. Working alongside both fundraising and delivery staff, you will be responsible for providing direction, advice, training and support to 10 Fairbridge teams to develop relationships with, and secure funding from, local and regional public sector organisation teams located across England, as well as the implementation of this grant.

As well as your understanding of and commitment to tackling the issues facing young people from disadvantaged areas, you will have experience in statutory fundraising and an understanding of operational impact of development projects.

Strong communication, evaluation and administration skills will be vital to success in this role.

Post funded until 31 March 2011.
