A highly successful health-based charityis looking to recruit a hard-working and dedicated Head of Community Fundraising to work in their Central London offices. You will be responsible for growing the income, profile and volunteering opportunities for the client in local communities throughout the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with proven management experience and a successful background in fundraising.

SALARY RANGE: £33,000 - £35,000

STATUS:Permanent

MAIN DUTIES:

- Assist the Director of Fundraising to manage and achieve the overall objectives of the clients fundraising operation effectively and dynamically.

- Produce a draft annual operational plan and budget for activities within your control and operate to maximum effect within the agreed plan and budget.

- Maximise numbers and fundraising potential of the clients voluntary branches and other local fundraising working, ensuring they also receive prompt communication and excellent customer service at all times.

- Work with the scientific and press teams to promote the effectiveness of the client as a national charity, ensuring that the regional fundraisers have adequate knowledge about research in their areas.

ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:

- Experience of managing fundraising income of at least £1 million.

- Proven marketing as well as team management and development experience.

- Experience in communication through all media at all levels.

- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

- Car driver with a clean licence.

- Excellent team leader and player.
